KIDS Multi & Green Maté

Jarrow Formulas, Los Angeles, CA, has unveiled KIDS Multi, a chewable daily complete multi-vitamin for children ages 3 to 12. KIDS Multi contains 25 vitamins and minerals and is made with IronSorb™, an iron complex that is prepared to reduce irritation in the stomach. In addition, KIDS Multi contains phytonutrients and lutein and uses the low calorie Lo Han natural sweetener.

In other news, Jarrow has unveiled Green Maté, which is an unfermented yerba maté 5:1 extract standardized to contain at least 20% caffeoylquinic acid, including 5% chlorogenic acids. Typical yerba maté undergoes a fermentation process that destroys the beneficial caffeoylquinic acid, according to the company. Jarrow’s Green Maté contains Hyperpure™ EFLA920, a patented, high purity, unfermented yerba maté.
